CFTRI PhD Admission Open for August Session; Last Date to Apply is May 23

New Delhi: Central Food Technological Research Institute (CFTRI) has started accepting Applications for August 2022 Phd programmes under the University of Mysore. Aspiring candidates can submit application forms for their desired PhD programme till May 23, 2022 at cftri.res.in/ 

CFTRI, Mysore offers the full time Ph.D programme in Science domain under the University of Mysore in specialisations such as; Biotechnology, Food Science & Nutrition, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Physics, Bioscience, Food Technology, Chemistry and Microbiology. 

Candidates seeking admission to the Phd programme under University of Mysore must have completed their PG degree in M.Sc or M.Tech in the relevant field along with a valid national level fellowship.

CFTRI PhD Admission 2022 (August Session): Eligibility Criteria

• Candidates applying for Ph.D programmes under the University of Mysore must have completed M.Sc or M.Tech degree in any of the relevant fields.

• Candidates who have JRF of CSIR, UGC, RGNF, MANF, DBT, ICMR, INSPIRE or other equivalent or having CSIR-SRF/ ICMR-SRF are eligible for PhD programmes.

CFTRI PhD Admission 2022 (August Session): Selection Process

• Firstly candidates are shortlisted on the basis of national level fellowships and their Master's degree academic score.
• Shortlisted candidates then have to appear for the Interview round with all original documents.
• The final selection of candidates is based on the overall performance in the Shortlisting process and Interview round.

Aspiring candidates seeking admission to the PhD programme at CFTRI must follow the following steps to apply: 

• Students must send the application form after filling all required details to the Ph.D Coordinator in the contact e-mail.
• Students will also have to attach the scanned copy of the National fellowship award letter along with the filled application form.
