Chandigarh University BCA Students Can Now Transfer to Northern Arizona University; Details Here

Chandigarh University has declared that students who have enrolled in a four-year Bachelor of Computer Application (BCA) program will now have the option to transfer to the Northern Arizona University for the last two years of the course. 

As per the decision, the four-year Bachelor of Computer Application (BCA) students of Chandigarh University will be able to complete half of their course at US-based Northern Arizona University. 

The decision to offer transfer to students of Chandigarh University BCA 2021 to Northern Arizona University was made by the university after its collaboration with an online learning platform, upGrad - an online learning platform.

Referring to the collaboration, upGrad said in an official statement that the pathway created by the collaboration between the two parties will assist in saving about INR 50 lakh in tuition fees and living expenses of the students who wish to pursue their Bachelors from the US.

"Offering dual benefits of being cost-effective, with an added advantage of mobility” the officials further added. Under this collaboration, the students of Chandigarh University will have a chance to study abroad and explore job opportunities in the US at an affordable cost.

Referring to the initiative, Chandigarh University stated that students who complete the four-year program on the campus will now have the opportunity to apply for a study work visa in the US and build their careers. 

Ragh Singh, Program Manager, Strategic Global Initiatives, Center for International Education, Northern Arizona University said CU students have been provided with an opportunity to pursue their higher education from the United States. 

He further added, “ this opportunity also allows them to complete part of your academic degree from your home country and thus lowering the cost of education in terms of earning a US higher education degree".
