Chandigarh University Placement 2022: Himachal Pradesh Students Bag Offers in Top MNCs; Check Details

New Delhi: Chandigarh University has successfully conducted the placement drive for academic year 2021-22. In the latest placement drive, many students from Himachal Pradesh, have managed to successfully secure employment in some of the top tier multinational companies (MNCs).

As per the varsity officials’ announcement during a media interaction on April 20, 2022, many students have bagged jobs at companies such as Google, Dell Technology, IBM, Amazon, etc.

During the ongoing campus placement drive at the Chandigarh University campus, Vanshika Sanan of Solan, a B.Tech (Computer Science Engineering-IBM) student, received placement offers from Accenture India and HighRadius with the maximum annual package of INR 8 Lakhs.

Another girl from Solan, Yogyata Chauhan, an Aerospace Engineering student, received a job offer from Tata Advanced Systems Limited for the annual package of INR 6 Lakhs.

The students gave credit for this successful placement drive to Chandigarh University’s Pre-Placement training programme which starts as soon as students take admission in the varsity.

In placement session 2020-21, more than 460 girls out of the total 740 students from Himachal Pradesh bagged a job offer with top companies. Following the last year trend, this year also girl candidates have performed well and have secured job offers at companies like Microsoft, IBM, Amazon, TCS who have been the regular recruiter of young talent from Chandigarh University.

Along with the incredible performance of the students from Himachal Pradesh during the placement drive, Abhikash, another B.Tech student from Himachal Pradesh, has developed a number of useful innovative devices. He has been credited with 2 patents for an in-built self retracting car cover unit and an in-built hydraulic jack system.

Students are required to maintain 50% marks in their graduation degree for applying to this university. The last date to register for CUCET is May 29, 2022.
