CSKHPKV Admission 2023 Open through CUET; Apply Till March 30

New Delhi: Chaudhary Sarwan Kumar Himachal Pradesh Krishi Vishvavidyalaya (CSKHPKV) has begun the application process for its regular courses including BTech (Food Technology) and BSc (Hons) Agriculture through the CUET UG 2023 scores for the academic session 2023-24. Interested candidates can enroll for admission to these courses through the official portal, @www.hillagric.ac.in.

CSKHPKV offers undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral level degree programmes in various specialisations of Agriculture. Candidates seeking admission to BSc (hons), BTech, and regular courses can register for CUET UG 2023 till March 30, 2023. 

CSKHPKV Admission 2023 to the regular courses like B.Sc. Courses in Physical Sciences (Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics), Life Sciences (Botany, Zoology & Chemistry), B.Sc. (Hons.) Community Science and B.Sc. (Hospitality & Hotel Administration, BSc (Hons) Agriculture, and BTech is based on merit obtained in the entrance test (CUET UG 2023).

CSKHPKV Admission 2023: Dates

The university offers B.Sc.(Hons.) Agriculture for a duration of three years, whereas B.Tech. (Food Technology) is offered for four years. A total of 60 seats are offered in both programmes.

CSKHPKV Admission 2023: Eligibility Criteria

Candidates intending to enroll for CSKHPKV programmes will have to meet the requisite eligibility criteria. 

Regular Courses (Merit-based):

• Candidates must have passed class 10+2/Intermediate/ Higher Secondary or equivalent examination conducted by an Education Board/University/Council (duly recognized by the H.P. Board of School Education, Dharamshala /MHRD, New Delhi) with a minimum of 50% marks for General/OBC /EWSs category and 40% for SC/ST in aggregate of English, Physics, Chemistry, Biology with passing marks in each subject. 
• Candidates must have studied PCB (P-Physics, C-Chemistry & B-Biology).
• Any examination of a University/Education Board/College/ School in a foreign country recognized by the University as equivalent for the purpose with good knowledge of English. 

B.Sc. (Hons) Agriculture:

• Candidates must have passed a 10+2 /Intermediate/ Higher Secondary /Equivalent examination with at least 50% marks from recognized state boards.

BTech (Food Technology):

• Candidates must have passed the 10+2 /Intermediate/ Higher Secondary /Equivalent examination with PCM or PCMB as major subjects with a minimum of 50 % marks in aggregate. 

CSKHPKV Admission 2023: Selection Process

• Candidate's final selections for admissions to the regular courses, BTech, and BSc (Hons) rely on the aggregate scores of the entrance examination, CUET 2023.
• The CUET UG 2023 is scheduled to be held on May 21, 2023. 

• The college conducts counselling sessions for the seat allotment which is drawn in the order of merit on the basis of category, depending on the mode of admission of the candidate.

Step 4: Pay the application fee of INR 2000, preview the form once submit it.
