Even after the Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan's tweet about his decision of online examinations for final year UG and UG students, the exam department of Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya wants clarity on it.

DAVV Exam Controller DR. Ashesh Tiwari said, "It's not specified whether the tweet is for the University Teaching Department (UTD) or the affiliated students. In the case of UTD, it's already planned to conduct online exams. However, it will be difficult for us to conduct exams for affiliated college students."

Tiwari added that there are over 80,000 final year/ semester students of UG and PG courses. The varsity has decided to write to DHE over clarity and issuance of guidelines for conducting examinations of students of affiliated colleges.

As per reports, the examinations for 80% of subjects have already been conducted and only 20% is remaining. Abiding by the UGC released guidelines, the colleges and universities have to complete the final year examinations by the end of September 2020.

DAVV is all set to conduct the examinations of UTD students from the first week of August in online mode and the exam will be in open-book format. However, clarity is needed for examinations of students of affiliated colleges.
