New Delhi: DCJ Mumbai has begun the application process for admission to the PG courses in the Department of Communication and Journalism for the academic year 2022-2023. Candidates can apply online through the official website dcjmumbai.mu.ac.in

 

Mumbai University’s Department of Communication and Journalism (DCJ) is inviting applications for postgraduate courses. Candidates need to fill in the application online in order to register for the DCJ entrance examination. There are several postgraduate courses in Mumbai University’s DCG such as MA in Communication and Journalism, MA in Electronic Media, MA in Public Relations, MA in Film Studies, and MA in Television Studies. Mumbai University Admission to DCJ is based on an entrance examination which will be held offline. Candidates seeking admission to the PG course can apply online till July 15, 2022. The entrance examination will be held for 90 minutes. It will be 100 marks in total. There is no negative marking on incorrect answers. Candidates need to then give a personal interview and have to complete the group discussion rounds.

• Aspiring candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree from any recognized university.
• Candidates pursuing their final year exams / waiting for their results are also eligible to apply. However, they must have maintained 50% marks.
• Candidates must hold a valid score in the acceptable entrance exam.

DCJ Mumbai PG Admission 2022: Selection Process

• Firstly the applicants are shortlisted on the basis of their performance in the entrance examination. 
• Shortlisted candidates then have to appear for the Group Discussion and Personal Interview rounds.
• Final selection is based on the overall performance, marks weightage is Entrance Test (100 marks), GD (100 Marks), and PI (100 marks).

• Step 1: Visit the official application portal of DCJ at dcjmumbai.mu.ac.in
• Step 2: Register yourself after filling in the required details, such as Mobile Number, Email Id etc.
• Step 3: Now, log in with your registration credentials and fill in all details in the Application form.
• Step 4: Pay the application fee of 400 INR and submit the Application form. 
• Step 5: Applicants must also take a printout of the form for all future needs.
