New Delhi: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the test schedule of Delhi University Entrance Test or DUET 2022 for Postgraduate and PhD Courses on its official website. DUET 2022 is all set to commence on October 17, 2022.
This year, the DUET 2022 Exam will be conducted as a computer based test (CBT). Candidates intending to appear for the DUET 2022 Exam can visit the official portal @nta.ac.in/DuetExam, and check the detailed schedule of DUET PG 2022.
According to the DUET PG Exam Schedule, the DUET 2022 Exam will be held on October 17, 18, 19, 20 and 21, 2022, in 3 shifts, i.e, shift 1 will begin at 8 AM and finish at 10 AM, while Shift 2 will be held between 12:30 PM and 2:30 PM, and Shift 3 will be conducted from 5 PM to 7 PM.
The NTA stated that the dates of Advance City Intimation and Release of Admit Card will be released shortly. Candidates can call NTA Help Desk at 011 40759000 or write to NTA at duet@nta.ac.in, if they have any queries/ clarifications related to the examination.
While Delhi University has announced to use CUET-UG 2022 scores for undergraduate admissions, likewise, DUET 2022 scores will be used for postgraduate and PhD admissions.
Earlier, this year, the CUET exam was introduced as a single window exam for admission to central universities and other participating universities.
Several universities have decided to go with CUET for both UG and PG admissions, while DU decided to use CUET 2022 exam for UG admissions only and DUET 2022 Exam for admissions to PG courses.
Meanwhile, St. Stephens College is expected to challenge the Delhi High Court ruling on the admission process. It will seek interim relief for this year to carry out admissions as usual.
The latest sources reveal that the highest decision making body of the institution, the college’s governing body, met and decided to move to the Supreme Court.
St. Stephen’s College has said that it will consider CUET scores weighing 85 percent and 15 percent weightage for personal interview for its UG Admission.
However, the Delhi HC rules that the college has to follow the admission policy of DU according to which CUET scores will get 100 percent weightage.
