DTU End-Semester Exams Stand Cancelled, Announced Varsity


The Delhi Technological University (DTU) has cancelled the end-semester examinations to be held from July 18, 2020. 

Following the Delhi government's order to cancel all the forthcoming semester and final semester University examinations, the Delhi Technological University took this decision.

The varsity said, "In view of the recent announcement by the Govt. of NCT of Delhi to cancel all the semester examinations, it is decided that the end-term examinations of even semester 2019-20 for intermediate semester of all the programs and all semesters of ex-students scheduled from July 18 stand cancelled."

Adding to this varsity said that the assessment guidelines for various programs pertaining to intermediate semesters will soon be notified.

Earlier DTU announced that the final semester exams for various courses will be conducted through three different modes namely, Combined examination of subjective questions and MCQs, Multiple-Choice based examination, and Case Study based examination.

Besides this DTU also introduced negative marking which added to the student's anxiety in this pandemic situation.

Several other universities like IIT Bombay, IIT Roorkee, IIT Kanpur, IIT Kharagpur had already announced the cancellation of final semester examinations.
