New Delhi: Delhi Technological University (DTU) has begun the application process for various courses including MSc, MTech, MDes, and PhD, for the academic session 2022-23. Aspiring candidates can submit the online application form through the official portal, @dtu.ac.in. 

DTU, New Delhi offers a gamut of undergraduate and postgraduate level programmes in various specialisations. Candidates seeking admission to the MSc programme can submit their applications till June 23, whereas the last date to apply for the PhD program is June 6, and the deadline to submit the M.Des application form is June 20, 2022. 

Candidates seeking admissions into the M.Tech Course can submit the online application form till June 17, 2022.

Candidates intending to pursue the MSc, M.Des, M.Tech, and PhD courses offered by DTU will have to meet the requisite eligibility criteria. 

DTU Admission 2022: Eligibility Criteria

Eligibility Criteria for M.Tech: 

• Candidates holding MSc/ BE/ Btech degree with 60% marks in relevant disciplines can apply for MTech. 
• Candidates with AMIE / AMIS / AMIICHE/ AMIIM/ Grad IETE who have a BSc degree or have done a diploma in engineering are also eligible to apply.
• GATE qualified candidates are eligible for admission. No additional test or Interview is conducted by the University. 

Eligibility Criteria for M.Sc:

• Candidates seeking admissions into MSc will need 55% marks in Bachelor’s degree in any relevant specialisation from a recognized university/ institution. 

Eligibility Criteria for PhD: 

• Candidates who have cleared Master’s or MPhil degrees with 55% marks are eligible to apply. 

Eligibility Criteria for M.Des:

• Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree in any relevant specialisation 
• Candidates must have a valid CEED score or else they should appear for the DAT exam. 

DTU Admission 2022: Selection Process

• Selection Process for PhD: Candidate's selection will be made based on two rounds (written test & Interview round to offer admission in Ph.D. program. UGC NET/ CSIR NET/ DBT/ JRF qualified candidates are exempted from the Ph.D. Screening Test. Such candidates have to appear in the interview round only.
• Selection Process for M.Tech: Candidate's selection will be based on GATE score followed by their performance in personal interview. 
• Selection Process for M.Des: Candidate's selection will be based on their DAT scores and performance in PI. 

• Selection Process for MSc: Candidate's selection will be on the basis of their performance and scores in the written exam conducted by the university. 

DTU Admission 2022: How to Apply?

Step 1: Visit the official application portal of DTU @www.dtu.ac.in. 

Step 2: Register yourself after filling the required details, such as Mobile number, Email Id etc.

Step 3: Now, login with your registration credentials and fill all details in the Application form.

Step 4: Pay the application fee of INR 1500 and submit the Application form. 

Step 5: Applicants must also take a print out of the form for all future needs.
