DUET 2022 Registration Begins Today (April 6) for Delhi University PG Courses; Details Here

New Delhi: Delhi University is all set to start the DUET 2022 registration for admission to its postgraduate courses from today April 6, 2022, onwards. The entrance test is scheduled to be held in the third week of July. 

Announcing the commencement of DUET 2022 applications, DU Vice-Chancellor Yogesh Singh said that admission to PG courses will be done based on the Delhi University Entrance Test (DUET) scores, like last year. DUET is an entrance exam conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) for granting admissions into postgraduate courses at DU. 

Hence for DU PG Admission 2022, candidates will have to register for the DUET exam on the DU registration portal, which will be open between April 6 and May 15, 2022. 

DUET 2022: Highlights

DUET 2022 to be Held Across 28 Indian Cities, 50% Seats to be Filled through Entrance 

As per the latest updates, a total of twenty-eight cities have been selected as DUET examination centres with one centre in each state. DU VC said that the DUET entrance exam is expected to be conducted in the third week of July 2022. 

It should be noted that just like the previous year, in DU Admission 2022, 50% of the postgraduate seats will be reserved for the students of DU while 50% of the students will be selected through DUET.

Further, the Vice-Chancellor has issued the admission policy for the academic year 2022-23. According to this, admission to DU School of Open Learning (DU SOL) and National Collegiate Women's Education Board (NCWEB) in all undergraduate programmes will not be done through CUET 2022. 

However, the rest of DU affiliated colleges are required to consider the CUET scores for enrolling candidates into their undergraduate courses from this year onwards. The VC further stated that it is mandatory for all the candidates to appear in CUET 2022, including those seeking admission to supernumerary seats. 

DUET 2022: Eligibility Criteria

• No limitation on candidates’ age for applying to PG courses.
• Candidates must be a citizen of India.
• Candidates with a bachelor’s degree are eligible to apply for PG courses.

DUET 2022: How to Register Online? 

Interested candidates can go through the step-by-step process below to register online for DUET 2022. 

Step 1: Visit the official DU portal, du.ac.in. 

Step 2: Navigate to the postgraduate admissions tab and create a login ID by providing their Email ID, mobile number and password. 

Step 3: Now, use the credentials to download the DUET 2022 application form. 

Step 4: Fill out the application form with the necessary details and upload the essential documents as prescribed. 

Step 5: Fill out Educational, Course & Test Centre details in a DUET application form and give it a final preview before submitting it.. 

Step 6: Finally, pay the requisite application fee and download the DUET 2022 application form and take a printout of the same for further reference. 

Note: The DUET application fee for UR/OBC candidates is INR 750 while for SC/ST/PwD/EWS it is INR 300.
