They have clearly defined guidelines for scanning and uploading photograph and signature in the application form. The entrance examination is scheduled to take place in 1^st Week of May 2021.

• While Registering for AP LAWCET 2021, candidates should verify their details before final submission.
• LAWCET Authorities will release the exam schedule in 2^nd week of March 2021 at www.sche.ap.gov.in/lawcet.
• Candidates can fill the AP LAWCET online application form between 2^nd week of March and 4^th week of April, 2021.
• Admit Card will be released on the 1^st week of May, 2021
• Candidates must make sure that their photo and signature file meet the parameters set by the authorities. Failing to do so will result in rejection of the form.

AP LAWCET 2021 Photo Specifications

• Photograph must be recently clicked and of passport size.
• Image can either be in colour or black & white, preferably in colour.
• It should be clicked against a white background.
• The photograph must not have a candidate wearing any fancy accessories like glares/sunglasses, caps, or hats.
• Candidates wearing spectacles must ensure that there are no reflections and their eyes are clearly visible in the photograph.
• The photograph must not have any red eye due to flash.

APLAWCET 2021 Signature Specifications

Along with the photographs, candidates are required to upload a scanned image of their signature. The same will be uploaded in TS LAWCET Admit Card as a specimen. Listed below are the specifications:

• Signature must be done on a white paper done in black ink.
• Signature must be done by the applicant and not by any other person.
• The pixel dimensions of the signature must not exceed 110 x 140 pixel.
• The signature uploaded must match the signature done by a candidate in the exam. In case of a mismatch, the candidate will be disqualified.

Steps to Resize Photo and Signature Image

Scanned images of the photograph and signature can be resized easily by following the steps given below-

Option 1 - Resize photo using Photoshop 

• Open the image to be resized
• Click on the Image drop-down menu and select Image Size
• Type the dimension in Width and Height box
• Uncheck the box Constraint Properties
• Click on Ok button
• After clicking on the button, check image properties for image size

Option 2 - Resize photo using MS Paint 

• Open image in MS Paint
• In the toolbar, go to resize option
• Uncheck “Maintain Aspect Ratio” and readjust the pixels as instructed
• Click Ok button
• After clicking on the button, check image properties for image size

Dos & Don’ts for AP LAWCET 2021 Photograph and Signature

To successfully submit the application form, the following information must be kept in mind.

• Pictures must not be taken from any smartphone.
• Pictures to be uploaded must be professionally clicked and should be of high quality.
• Abstract and dark backgrounds in the photographs must be avoided.
• The face of candidate (between chin and forehead) must occupy more than 50% area of the photograph.
• Do not wear dark/tinted glasses. Only clear glasses are allowed.
• If a candidate wears glasses regularly, then it must be ensured that there is no undue reflection or glare in the eyes.
• Caps, hats and dark glasses are not acceptable. Religious headwear is allowed but it must not cover your face.
• Candidate’s face must be clearly visible and there must not be any unnecessary shadows or reflections in the image.
• The signature must be done on white paper. Any other background in signature may lead to rejection.
• Also, signature must be done with black ink only. All other variants of inks must be avoided.
