New Delhi: IIT Kanpur has topped the state list as the top-most institute in Uttar and secured the sixth position in the country as per the latest Education Ranking 2022 (EduRank) released for universities and colleges. The list has been released at state, national and global levels.
As per the ranking release, Banaras Hindu University (BHU) has been placed the second place with a state rank of 2 and a country rank of 10, followed by Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) in the third position with 3rd place in the state rank and 17 in country ranking.
Lucknow University has grabbed its position as the 4th top-most institute in Uttar Pradesh, whereas Allahabad University has been placed at the fifth position. The rankings have been released for the top 79 universities of Uttar Pradesh.
As per EduRank, the top universities of Uttar Pradesh state have been ranked for the 2022 session based on their overall reputation, research performance, and alumni impact. The rankings have been processed by analyzing the citations and publications made by universities.
