Fortune India Ranking 2022 Released for India's Best B-Schools, IIM Ahmedabad at Top

New Delhi: Fortune India has recently released India's Best B-Schools 2022 Rankings for top Indian institutes for 2022 sessions. According to the rankings released, the leading Indian Institute of Management (IIMs) have secured their positions as the top B-school in India.

Following the rankings, the Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Ahmedabad has been placed in the first rank with an overall score of 100, while IIM Calcutta stood in second place with a 99.9 score followed by IIM Bangalore at third rank and IIM Lucknow in fourth place.

For this session, the top IIMs of India have been placed in the top six ranks, which are IIM Ahmedabad, IIM Calcutta, IIM Bangalore, IIM Lucknow, IIM Kozhikode and IIM Indore. Check the complete list of India’s top B-schools as per Fortune India Ranking 2022 in this article below!

In addition to IIMs, the FMS of Delhi University has been placed at 7th position with an overall score of 97.9, followed by Bharatiya Vidhya Bhavan's S.P Jain Institute of Management & Research in 8th rank, IIFT Delhi in 9th and IIT Bombay at 10th rankings.

Earlier, the leading business magazine - Fortune India released the rankings for the best private B-Schools in India in which NMIMS School of Business Management stood in the second position.

The Fortune India rankings were released for over 2000 B-Schools that have existed for at least five years. Following this, the NMIMS has been ranked at the top in leading magazines, such as Fortune India, Outlook, MHRD and NIRF among others.

Informing about the rankings, the official Fortune India website reads, " the latest introduction- India's Best B-schools, is the most contemporary ranking, built from scratch to incorporate six most important parameters to identify the country's best business schools".

"For the first time in the country, it also introduces a brand new concept 'Distance To Frontier' — a parameter that benchmarks each B-School against how close it is to being the leader. The rankings were conducted in July-October 2022 by research partner, CMS Research" it added.
