GMRIT Placement 2022: Students bag INR 34.30 Lakh job at Amazon; Check Details Here

New Delhi: GMR Institute of Technology (GMRIT) concluded the campus placements with students receiving overwhelming job offers. It has recorded 1100 and more placement offers this year, with a 60% increase in offers compared with the preceding years.

As per GMRIT, students bagged high-paid jobs in reputed Multinational Companies (MNC) with 180% offers of varying salary packages. It has been at the forefront with 95% remarkable placements. The top recruiters were Infosys, Cognizant, ValueLabs, TCS, Wipro, Accenture, Paytm and L&T.

Among the GMRIT Courses, a student from Computer Science department B Adarsh has bagged a whopping INR 34.30 lakh package from Amazon. Adarsh comes from a humble background. Adarsh hails from B Gonapaputtuga village of Srikakulam district, Andhra Pradesh. His father is currently working as an ASI in CRPF, and his mother is a housewife, according to the official release.

According to Adarsh, “I started practising coding initially in our college digital library. As I did not have a laptop, my Head of the Department Dr AV Ramana permitted me to use the departmental lab after college hours. I had consistently worked on my coding skills on online platforms like CodeChef, Codeforces, HackerRank. In third year, I focused on building projects and gaining knowledge in data science part using Python along with my coding practice. I am happy that I got selected by Amazon as a System Development Engineer (SDE) thanks to the support I got from my parents and my college staff who believed in me.”
