GNDU Placements 2022: Two B.Tech Students Selected for 1-Year Internship

New Delhi: GNDU organised a campus placement drive where two students from B.Tech in Food Technology were selected for a one-year internship at Haldirams.

The campus placement drive at GNDU was hosted by the directorate of placement and career enhancement, and Haldiram Snacks Private Ltd was one of the companies that visited the university. 

The two B. Tech students from the food technology department, who were shortlisted for the internship program offered by Haldiram, will receive an initial stipend of INR 23,000 per month for one year. 

GNDU Placements 2022: Highlights 

Prior to the commencement of their jobs, the shortlisted interns will be provided with a year-long comprehensive training, which is considered to be a good opportunity for the students to learn and understand about the food industry from the best professionals. The professionals from the company will help the selected interns to grow both personally and professionally. 

Shantanu Roy and Abhay Kumar got offers from the GNDU placement drive at Haldiram. The students appeared in a written test and personal interview to get selected for the internship program. 

Dr Maninder Kaur, head, food technology Department, GNDU and other senior professors of the Department and other courses also got an opportunity to interact with the company officials.

Meanwhile, GNDU is inviting online applications for admission to its B.Ed course for the academic year 2022-2023. Aspiring candidates can apply online through the official website gndu.ac.in. The last to apply is June 28, 2022.
