Gujarat University and the Defence Research and Development Organization (DRDO) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to establish the Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Centre for Cybersecurity Research (SVPCCR), an advanced technology centre on the Gujarat University campus in Ahmedabad.
The centre would cost more than Rs 100 crore to establish as per GU media release. Directed basic and applied research related to defence and dual-use applications in broad domains will be undertaken by the centre.
In the presence of the defence minister, the MoU was signed by the secretary of the department of defence R&D, DRDO chairman Dr G Satheesh Reddy, and GU vice-chancellor Himanshu Pandya.
Meanwhile, Gujarat University also announced the provisional merit list for MCom and BEd for the year 2021 on October 6.
Candidates may access the Gujarat University 2021 merit list for MCom and BEd by entering their username and password in the student login window given on the official website Gujarat university.ac.in.
On October 10, Gujarat University will announce the final MCom merit list for the year 2021. The Gujarat University MCom college selection list for round I will be revealed on October 13.
The varsity will announce the BEd final merit list for 2021 on October 9,. The 2021 BEd merit list for rounds 2 and 3 will be out on October 10 and 22.
The Gujarat University provisional 2021 merit list will include names of candidates, registration numbers, category, category rank number, allocated college, percentage, and merit rank number.
Shortlisted applicants will be invited to participate in the counselling session once the Gujarat University merit list 2021 is released.
Gujarat University Admissions 2021 are held to enrol students in different undergraduate and postgraduate programmes provided by the university, including MCom, B.Ed, MA, M.Ed, BA/BJMC, BSc, BCom, BBA, BCA, MBA (Integrated), MSc. (Integrated), and others.
