Gujarat University UG, PG final exam 2020 starts August 21, timetable released


Gujarat University is all set to conduct its final year examination either in online or offline mode. The exams are scheduled to commence from August 21-31,2020. 

Candidates of Gujarat University from the outside states, cities or countries will be given a choice to opt for the mode of examination for which they want to appear.

It has been informed by the Controller of the Examination, Kalpen Vohra that the exams will be conducted by the authorities in the form of Multiple Choice Questions(MCQ’s) in online mode.

While the offline exams will be taken in such a way that the candidates can attempt any 3 out of 5 questions. These exams will be conducted in a descriptive form for 50 marks.

As per the official notifications issued by the Education Department, the exam duration will not exceed 2 hours. However, it is still unclear if this duration is applicable for both the cases.

Earlier, Gujarat University had called off previous exam schedules to release new dates to conduct exams in August. However, the circular has already clarified regarding the non-applicability for those who have already conducted the exams at the departmental level in UG and PG courses as well.

Moreover, the candidates can feel free to choose their centres for their exams in order to follow social distancing norms due to the pandemic. On the other hand, those who will not be able to appear for the exams due to fear of infection will get a special chance to take their exams.
