Gurugram University Introduces PhD Courses in Four Streams; Read Full Story Here


On Monday, January 4, the vice-chancellor of Gurugram University Markanday Ahuja announced the University is set to start PhD courses in four streams this year. The four streams include management, commerce, public administration and pharmacy. 

The meeting with the VC of  Gurugram University led to the discussion on the PhD course module guide. Ahuja said that the applicants who are willing to apply for the PhD programme can go through the details of the same on its website.

Applicants can apply for the course starting from January 6. He also added that the scope of the PhD programme will be enhanced gradually under the University. The University added six new courses last year. Presently it provides a total number of 28 courses. It will also be adding more courses both at PhD and other levels at due time.

Ahuja said “New tenders have been floated. Meanwhile, the construction of some classrooms is complete. We will be starting around 8 classes from next month on the original campus for subjects that require no practical session, ”
