HPU M.Tech Computer Science Admission 2022 Open, Apply till May 7

New Delhi: HPU M.Tech Computer Science Admission 2022-23 has started. Interested candidates can apply for the admission process on the university's official website at hpuniv.ac.in before May 07, 2022. 
 

Himachal Pradesh University (HPU) Shimla offers a two-year full-time M.Tech program. Candidates who are interested in applying are required to have a Master's degree in Mathematics, Physics, Electronics, Computer Science or Computer Applications or even Bachelor’s degree in Engineering /Technology from a recognized university or institute with a minimum of 55% marks or equivalent grade point. 

Selection of M.Tech candidates for HPU Admission 2022 will be done based on their overall academic qualification, marks in the qualifying entrance examination and availability of admission sets. 

Following the admission schedule, the entrance examination for this HPU Course will be held on May 26, 2022. Admit cards for the same will be made available for registered candidates on the university website on May 17, 2022.

HPU M.Tech Computer Science Admission 2022: Eligibility Criteria

• Candidates must have a Master's degree with a minimum of 55% marks (50% marks for SC/ST category) in Mathematics/ Physics/ Electronics/MCA/Computer Science. 
• Those who have completed their 4-years Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Technology can also apply. 
• Candidates who have completed any exam of a university in a foreign country, recognized by the equivalence committee of HPU with 55% marks (50% marks for SC/ST) are also eligible to apply.

Step 1: Visit the official website of Himachal Pradesh University at admissions.hpushimla.in.

Step 2: From the homepage, click on the “HPU Shimla M.Tech Admission 2022” tab. 

Step 3: Read the instructions with care and fill out the application form as required.

Step 4: Upload a copy of mentioned documents and pay the application fee. 

Step 5: Review your application with care and click on submit to complete your HPU Shimla M.Tech Admission 2022 registration process. 

HPU M.Tech Computer Science Admission 2022: Entrance Exam Pattern

Himachal Pradesh University conducts its own entrance examination to select candidates for M.Tech (Computer Science) admission seats. The exam is held for a duration of 3 hours, during which applicants have to answer a total of 200 MCQ types of questions.

Applicants are required to score a minimum of 35% marks i.e. 70 marks out of a total of 200 to clear the entrance examination. Based on the marks secured by candidates, they are further selected for admission seats.
