IGNOU B.Ed Entrance Exam 2022 Registration Begins; Last Date is April 24

New Delhi: IGNOU B.Ed Entrance Exam 2022 registrations has begun for the academic year 2022-23. Aspiring candidates can submit the online application form through the official portal, ignou.ac.in

Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) offers B.Ed. course for 2-years duration. Candidates seeking admission to the programme need to have at least 50% marks in graduation or post graduation. 

Selection will be based on their performance in IGNOU B.Ed Entrance Exam 2022, which is scheduled to be held on May 8, 2022. They can now submit their applications till April 24, 2022. Earlier, the last date was April 17, which has been extended.

Below mentioned are some of the checklist of eligibility criteria that candidates need to go through before applying to the course: 

• Aspiring candidates must have 50% marks either in the Bachelor’s or in Master’s in Sciences/ Social Sciences/ Commerce/ Humanities from any recognized university
• Candidates with Bachelor’s in Engineering or Technology with specialisation in Science and Mathematics need 55% marks from any recognised university
• Candidates with trained-in service teachers in elementary education will be preferred
• Candidates who have completed NCTE recognised teacher education programme in direct mode
• There will be a relaxation of 5% in the qualifying marks required for the SC/ ST/ PwD candidates
• There will be a reservation for Kashmiri Migrants and War Widow candidates

• Firstly the applicants are shortlisted on the basis of their performance in the written exam
• The exam will be in online mode and for 1 hour
• The paper will be multiple choice question based
• Questions will be based on general English comprehension, logical and analytical reasoning, general knowledge, etc.

• Pay the application fee of inr 1000/ and submit the Application form
• Applicants must also take a print out of the form for all future needs.
