IIEST Shibpur Ph.D Admission 2022: Applications Open for July Cycle; Apply till May 18

New Delhi: Indian Institute of Engineering Science and Technology, Shibpur is inviting applications for its Ph.D programme for July Cycle 2022 in all disciplines of Engineering & Technology, Science, Architecture, Town & Regional Planning, and Humanities & Social Sciences.

IIEST Shibpur will accept the submission of applications for its Ph.D courses till May 18, 2022. Candidates interested and eligible for applying to Ph.D programme can do so by visiting the official website - iiests.ac.in.

It is to be noted that candidates are also required to download a pdf copy of PhD admission form attached with this notice, fill in the form and upload a copy of the same while submitting the online application.

Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree, and PG degree with a minimum 55% aggregate marks in relevant specialisation to be considered for the PhD program. 

IIEST Shibpur PhD Admission 2022: Selection Process

• Candidate's selection to the PhD course will be based on their merit in the qualifying exam and performance in the interview process. 
• On scoring of the eligible scores, the short-listed candidates are called up for a personal Interview where the candidate's academic and personality development is measured.
• The final selection for admission in Ph.D. will be based on the performance in the Interview subject to scoring minimum marks.

IIEST Shibpur Phd Admission 2022: How to Apply?

Step 1: Fill up the Onkine application form with appropriate data at https://forms.gle/pGcpUhWUc4sNvh8x6

Step 2: In the application form, write within 100 words why he/she wants to pursue Ph.D. and why in IIEST, Shibpur

Step 3: Write a Statement of Problem (SOP) within 500 words about his/her proposed research work

Step 4: Upload your digital photograph and signature in image format.

Step 5: Download a pdf copy of PhD admission form the Institute website (www.iiests.ac.in) under Ph.D. admission section. 

Step 6: Fill up the form and upload a copy of the same while you are submitting the online application. You have to submit the original copy of this application form if selected for admission.

Step 7: Payment of application fee has to be made in the following Institute’s Bank account only and upload the scan copy / pdf copy of the receipt while you are submitting online application.
