IIM Indore to Organise 24th Annual Convocation

New Delhi: The 24th Annual Convocation of the Indian Institute of Management Indore (IIM Indore) is all set to take place on April 1, 2023, from 7 PM. Arun Kumar Singh, Chairman of ONGC, will be the chief guest of this illustrious occasion, who will deliver the Convocation Address.

This year, the IIM Indore will honour the dedication and hard work of a total of 739 participants from seven flagship programmes by conferring degrees and diplomas upon them.

These students are primarily from the flagship programmes such as the Post Graduate Programme in Management (PGPM), Post Graduate Programme in Human Resource Management (PGPHRM), Five Year Integrated Programme in Management (IPM), Executive Post Graduate Programme in Management (EPGP), Post Graduate Programme in Management for Working Executives (PGPMX), Fellow Programme in Management (FPM), and Executive Fellow Programme in Management (EPFM).

Expressing his immense joy for the upcoming 24th Annual Convocation, IIM Indore’s Director Professor Himanshu Rai said that the Convocation occasion is especially significant because it not only represents the fruition of the graduates' years of toil, but also the beginning of a new chapter in their lives.

This year's Convocation will be a historic event for everyone involved as it will bring the graduating participants and their families together after a three-year break, Rai said.

Furthermore, he said that the convocation ceremony will be a culmination of years of arduous work and a celebration of academic success and personal development for all the graduating participants. Rai expressed his best wishes for everyone's future endeavours and urged them to make wonderful life achievements.

He also said it gives him great joy to see the participants receive their degrees and start their new careers, full of optimism for the future. Further, he shared his excitement stating that he's looking forward to witnessing the participants embark towards a new phase in their lives.

Meanwhile, the management institute will host the Pre-Convocation Ceremony on March 31, 2023, where Industry Sponsored Scholarships and NBFA Awards will be revealed. A cultural evening with a mesmerising dance performance by the Illuminati Dance Group will further enhance the charm of the ceremony.
