According to IIM Kozhikode, 29 delegates from all over the world took part in the programme. The Ministry of External Affairs, a department of the Indian government, provided funding for the five-day Leadership 4.0 programme.

Around 18 different nations were represented in the audience, including those from 18 different countries: Bulgaria, Egypt, Bhutan, Ethiopia, Guatemala, Iraq, Kenya, Sri Lanka, Mongolia, Mauritius, Malawi, Nepal, Oman, Palestine, Sudan, South Sudan, Tajikistan, and Tanzania.

Additionally, a full-day field investigation was conducted to look for foreign representatives in the nearby Wayanad district. This field trip was organised to learn more about community-focused projects like the "Nenmeni Sudha Jala Vitharana Society project" and the women's self-help group "Kudumbashree."

IIMK faculty members led classroom sessions for the Leadership 4.0 programme that covered topics like negotiation skills, the Indian economy, mindful leadership, creativity for social innovation, foundations of leadership, communication in a disruptive world, operational excellence, and competitive advantage.

The Leadership 4.0 curriculum focused on four overarching themes: authenticity (bridging the gap between your perception of reality and reality as it actually is), connectedness (creating resonance), productivity (the art of undone), and possibilities (changing mental models).

In his speech, IIMK Director Debashis Chatterjee stated that India has made significant contributions to many different disciplines of knowledge and that the country still has much to give in the areas of innovation and other community-driven businesses.

The participants' access to the ITEC programme has given them abilities that are unmatched. The IIMK Director also cited the renowned adage of Mahatma Gandhi, "You must be the change you wish to see in the world" in his speech.
