IIM Kozhikode Inks MoU with ICSI to Promote Excellence in Academics, Research & Training

New Delhi: IIM Kozhikode has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) to promote research, training, and academic excellence in areas of common interest.

As per IIM Kozhikode, the collaboration with ICSI aims to offer knowledge and skills required in the field of academic programs, research and training. With this initiative, both parties will promote academics and research to overcome the global skill gap.

Under this collaboration, ICSI and IIM Kozhikode will offer joint training programs to interested scholars. Participants will have the opportunity to take part in jointly organizing workshops, seminars, and various training programs on the campus ground.

IIMK-ICSI Collaboration to Enhance Learning Opportunities & Research Prospects

This collaboration will offer various academic and learning opportunities to students, including a chance to take part in the exchange of faculty members and journals, regular exchange of course materials, case studies, research publications and other research projects.

In addition to this, the institute will also organize various academic programs for professionals, scholars, corporate executives, faculty members, and interested participants. The programs will be designed on themes of topical and professional interests.

Talking about the initiative, Professor Chatterjee said, "MoU is a definitive chapter in coming together of two leading professional institutes in the country to propel the next generation of thought leaders".

"IIM Kozhikode is privileged to play its part in nation-building and training the best of the best in the Silver Jubilee year of our academic journey”, he added.

Adding to the statement, CS Devendra V Deshpande informed that both ICSI and IIM Kozhikode are looking forward to offering academic enrichment and development in various fields through this collaboration.

Earlier in May 2022, IIM Kozhikode also collaborated with NCW to offer an online professional training program. The collaboration was done to offer various professional training programs for early-stage women entrepreneurs for the academic session 2022-23.

Under the IIM Kozhikode, NCW Collaboration, the institute aimed to offer entrepreneurial capability and skills required among various women entrepreneurs. The initiative was executed by the Center of Excellence for Social Innovation (CESI) of IIM Kozhikode.
