IIM Udaipur Launches Unique Summer Program in Management for MBA Aspirants

New Delhi: As per the latest updates, IIM Udaipur has launched a first of its kind Summer Program in Management for MBA aspirants. The program is specially designed for students who wish to experience student life in one of the leading IIMs in India.

As per IIM Udaipur, the program is for those participants who wish to experience the student lifestyle at IIM as a build-up to applying for an MBA program. Those who want to have a one-time experience at IIM Udaipur campus can also apply for this summer program.

IIM Udaipur Summer Program 2023 is open to students who are above 18 and are currently pursuing their bachelor's degree from a recognised university. The application window is open on the official website at iimu.ac.in from February 21 to April 21, 2023.

After the application process, the program will commence for all registered participants for a duration of ten days, from May 02 to May 12, 2023. This is known to be one of the first programs offered by IIM which will provide students with a unique on-campus experience.

Prof. Ashok Banerjee, Director of IIM Udaipur said, "The Summer Program in Management showcases what goes on inside an IIM. The rigor, networking, and fun are integral to management education, and participants of this unique program will have first-hand experience of life at IIM".

"The teaching methods of our accomplished faculty and the knowledge-driven culture of IIM Udaipur will add great value to the learning of the participants of this program”, he further added.

During the program sessions, participants will be introduced to key aspects of management studies, focusing on Business Environment, Innovation & Entrepreneurship, Digital Transformation, and Business Communication.

In addition to this, it will include a case method of teaching. Students will be offered an IIM Udaipur - Summer Program in Management - Certificate of Participation after successfully completing the program duration.

Referring to this initiative, Prof. Rajesh Agrawal, Chairperson of the Summer Program in Management said, "IIM Udaipur is offering the first ever Pre-MBA Summer Program in Management by an IIM, which is specifically designed for those students who aspire to study MBA in the future".

"This program provides a unique opportunity to experience campus life, study and learn at a prestigious IIM. Students will get the opportunity to network with faculty, MBA students and fellow participants from throughout the country, and explore the historic city of Udaipur", he added.
