IIT-BHU Placements 2022-23: Students Grab 474 Job Offers on Day 1


New Delhi: The Indian Institute of Technology (BHU), Varanasi has successfully began its placements, where a total of 474 job offers including 305 pre-placement offers (PPOs) were made to the IIT BHU students on the very first day. 

According to IIT BHU, the students were able to grab 474 offers as of the end of the first two slots of final placements Day 1.

During the IIT BHU Placements, Graviton Research Capital, a quantitative trading company, offered the highest package, totaling INR 1.2 crore. A total of 169 offers were made by 46 different companies during the first two slots. 

AppDynamics, Squarepoint Capital, Airbnb India, Rakuten Mobile, Sprinklr, Wells Fargo, Uber, Flipkart, Microsoft, Accenture, Qualcomm, Texas Instruments, Walmart, Piramal, and Navi were just a few of the top-notch companies that offered packages between INR 15 lakh and INR 1.2 crore.

Earlier, around 305 students have obtained PPOs from 71 firms, with packages ranging anywhere from INR 7 lakh to INR 91 lakh-plus. The PPOs were provided by a number of prominent companies, including Microsoft, ServiceNow, American Express, Standard Chartered, BNY Mellon, Intuit, Adobe, Amazon, Axis Bank, Myntra, Google, Goldman Sachs, Samsung, and PwC.

IITG Placements 2022-23: 168 Offers Made on the First Two Sessions of Day 1

Meanwhile, IIT Guwahati recorded a total of 168 offers being made on the day one's session 1.1 and 1.2, for positions in the fields of software development engineer, data science, quant, core engineer, user experience designer, VLSI, vehicle engineering, analyst, product designer, etc. 

However, at the conclusion of placement session 1.2, the institute has received two international offers. The highest international offer stood at INR 2.4 crore, whereas the domestic offer was recorded at INR 1.1 crore.

IIT Madras Students Bag 445 Offers on Day 1

IIT Madras recorded a total of 445 offers being made to the students on day 1 and session 1 of campus placements for the academic year 2022–2023. 

At the end of session 1.1, the total, which includes pre-placement offers (PPOs), was the highest ever noted in IIT Madras placements history. It is approximately 10% greater than the 407-number from the previous year. 

At the conclusion of placement session 1.1, a total of 25 offers with pay packages exceeding INR 1 crore annually had been received. A total of four companies offering a total of 15 international offers at the end of session 1.1.
