IIT JAM 2022 Result to be Declared on March 22, Read Details Here

New Delhi: IIT JAM 2022 result will be published on March 22, 2022, according to the official website of the conducting institute, IIT Roorkee (jam.iitr.ac.in). Official scorecards will be available for download from April 1 to July 31, 2022.

Earlier, IIT JAM 2022 was held on February 13, 2022 for all seven papers. All the answer keys are now currently available on the official website. Applicants were given the option to challenge their answer keys during February 21-25, 2022 by logging in to their portal.

IIT JAM 2022: How to Check Result?

Step 1: Visit the official website of IIT JAM, at jam.iitr.ac.in.

Step 2: Log in to the candidate portal using credentials like enrolment ID/email ID and JOAPS password.

Step 3: Click on the result link to check the online scorecard.

Step 4: Download the IIT JAM 2022 result displayed on the screen, for future reference.

Note: Candidates can check the total marks obtained by them along with their All India Rank on the scorecard. No hard copy of the JAM 2022 scorecard will be sent to the JAM 2022 qualified candidates by IIT Roorkee. It can only be downloaded from JAM 2022 website within the

specified period.

IIT JAM 2022 Result: Tie-Breaking Criteria

In case of a tie, scores in the NAT section followed by scores in the MSQ section will be used to break the tie. The final tiebreaker will be the date of birth of the candidates. The older candidate gets a higher preference. In case this criterion does not break the tie, then both candidates concerned will be awarded the same rank.

IIT JAM 2022: Counselling Process

Candidates will be selected for the counselling process on the basis of their All India Rank and total scores obtained in IIT JAM 2022. No additional requirements, such as a suitability test or interview, are needed for admission to the programmes in IITs under JAM

Qualified candidates can start submitting applications for admission to IITs between April 11-25, 22, using the online form available on the JOAPS portal.

A non-refundable fee of INR 600 is required for processing. Also irrespective of whether the candidate has qualified in one or two test papers, only one admission form has to be submitted.
