IIT Kanpur MBA Admission 2023-24 Open; Last Date to Apply Extended till February 10

New Delhi: Indian Institute of Technology, (IIT Kanpur) has begun the application process for the MBA programme for the academic session 2023-24. Aspiring candidates can submit the online application form through the official portal, @https://www.iitk.ac.in/.

The Department of Industrial & Management Engineering (DIME), IIT Kanpur offers a full-time Master of Business Administration (MBA) program. Candidates seeking admission to the MBA programme can submit their applications till February 10, 2023. 

Admission to the MBA programme is done on the basis of CAT score followed by the Group Discussion and Personal Interview rounds.

IIT Kanpur MBA Admission 2023-24: Eligibility Criteria

Candidates seeking admission to the IIT Kanpur MBA programme will have to fulfil the requisite eligibility criteria. 

• Candidates must have obtained an overall score of 80 percentile or above in CAT-2022 to be preferred for personal interview. 
• Candidates must have pursued B.Tech. or B.E. or B.Arch. (with Mathematics as one of the subjects in Class XII) or four year degree program leading to B.Sc. Engineering (with Mathematics as one of the subjects), or four year degree program leading to Bachelor of Science degree (with Mathematics as one of the subjects), or Master of Science (with Mathematics as one of the subjects in the UG program), or Master of Arts in Economics (with Mathematics as one of the subjects in the UG program) with aggregate of 60% or a CPI of 6.0 on a scale of 10 from any AICTE recognized institute/university, IITs, NITs, and IIITs. 
• Final year students who are awaiting or will be completing their graduation can also apply for the program. 

IIT Kanpur MBA Admission 2023-24: Selection Process

• Candidate's will be shortlisted based on CAT scores, after which they'll have to report to the institute for GD PI rounds, schedule as mentioned in the intimation letter. 
• Based on GD PI rounds’ performance, past academic performance and CAT score, the final list of selected students shall be released on the IIT Kanpur website.
• The selection for MBA Admission is made based upon the aggregate score. The average score depends on a lot of factors like academic profile, job profile, etc.

IIT Kanpur MBA Admission 2023-24: How to Apply?

Step 1: Visit the official application portal of IIT Kanpur @https://www.iitk.ac.in/. 

Step 2: Register yourself after filling the required details, such as Mobile number, Email Id etc.

Step 3: Now, login with your registration credentials and fill all details in the Application form.

Step 4: Pay the application fee and submit the Application form. 

Step 5: Applicants must also take a print out of the form for all future needs.
