IIT Kharagpur Admission 2023 Open for LLB and LLM Courses; Apply Till March 15

New Delhi: IIT kharagpur has started the registration process for LLB and LLM programs. Candidates interested in applying for the LLB and LLM program can visit the official website at iitkgp.ac.in/.

To get admission in LLB program candidates must have a bachelor's degree and those who have completed their LLB degree are eligible to apply for the LLM program.

IIT Kharagpur LLB, LLM Admission 2023 Process: Eligibility Criteria

Candidates can check the IIT Kharagpur LLB and LLM programs eligibility criteria given below:

For LLB:

• Candidates must hold a first class bachelor's degree in engineering, technology, medicine or equivalent.
• Candidates must hold a first class master’s degree in science, pharmacy or equivalent.
• Candidates must hold a first class MBA degree with any one of the above degrees.
• If the institute does not mention “First class” in the degree certificate then the eligibility will be a minimum of 60% marks in aggregate or a CGPA of 6.5 in 10 point scale.

For LLM:

• Candidates must hold a first class in Bachelor of Laws LLB/BL (5 years) program from any recognised university.
• Candidates must hold a first class or equivalent degree in LLB/BL (3 years) program along with a BA degree of not less than 3 years in humanities, science, commerce or equivalent.
• The CGPA will not be converted into percentage marks if the institute provides marks in the CGPA system. In that case, the admission LLM program will be based on the CGPA awarded in the transcript.

• Stage I: IIT Kharagpur will conduct its own entrance exam to grant admission in LLB and LLM program.
• Stage II: The shortlisted candidates will be called for a personal interview round to get final admission in the program.

Step 3: The page of gateoffice.iitkgp.ac.in/law will appear on the screen.

Step 4: Now, click on the “Click Here To Apply Online for the LLB & LLM 2023 Entrance Test” link.

Step 5: Register yourself by filling in all the required details.

Step 6: Upload the required scanned documents.

Step 7: Take a printout of the IIT Law Entrance Exam Application Form 2023 for further reference.
