IIT Kharagpur Coordinates COAP 2023; Registrations to Open from March 18

New Delhi: Indian Institute of Technology, IIT Kharagpur is the coordinating institute for Common Offer Acceptance Portal, commonly known as COAP 2023. The registration portal for the same will open for registration from March 18, 2023.

The COAP portal is where all the participating IITs and ISc Bangalore publish the result of seat allotment. IIT Kharagpur will shortly release the GATE COAP 2023 schedule on the official website.

According to the GATE 2023 schedule, the GATE 2023 results are expected to be out on March 16, 2023. Candidates seeking admission to M.Tech courses in any of the participating IITs or ISc Bangalore, must have a valid GATE score to register online at the COAP portal along with the institute.

The M.Tech Admission at NITs and GFTIs is done through the CCMT portal. Candidates who have been allotted seats in COAP 2023 can accept/freeze/reject/wait for the seat allotted as per the schedule. However, candidates who wish to accept the seats under GATE COAP 2023 must complete the admission process by logging in to the institute portal, submitting fees, and the mandatory documents.

Being a common platform, COAP can be used by all the registered candidates to make the most preferred choice for admission into the MTech Programme in the participating Institutes.

There are a total of 23 Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) and Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bangalore that participates in COAP 2023 for MTech Admission process.

COAP 2023: Highlights

The Common Offer Acceptance Portal, or COAP, is where all Participating Institutions and PSU's will upload their offers during a predetermined window of time.
By registering at COAP, candidates will be able to know about all of the participating institutes / PSU's where they have applied for M.Tech. admissions / jobs, etc.

Every candidate should additionally apply to the respective Institute/ PSU for admission to the M.Tech programme in any of the participating institutes or for a position in any participating PSU.
The candidates are recommended to read the rules before registering for COAP 2022 in order to comprehend the process of examining all of the offers that are offered and selecting one particular offer out of them.

For any participating institute, COAP is not an application portal for M.Tech. admission. Applicants for the position should submit separate applications to the appropriate Institute(s) for M.Tech admission or PSU.
Each participating Institute / PSU will adhere to its own set of rules and criteria for the selection process.
Each candidate should register at COAP in order to view and choose their top option from any offers (if any) made by participating Institute(s).

COAP 2023 Registration: Eligibility Criteria

Candidates seeking MTech admissions (and those who are applying) in any of the participating Institutes of COAP and possessing a qualified GATE score (2023 and/or 2022 and/or 2021) will be eligible to register at the COAP portal.
Candidate's who do not meet the eligibility conditions are liable to be rejected.
During the COAP 2023 registration, Candidates will have to provide the following details such as qualified GATE registration number(s), Date of Birth, Email ID and Mobile number.
