Candidates should check the following parameters before applying for IIT Kharagpur PhD Admission 2022:

• All candidates seeking admission to the PhD program must have a minimum of 60% or a CGPA of 6.5 out of 10 point scale in the qualifying examination (3.2.a and/or 3.2.b) in Engineering /Science /Commerce /Management/Law and/or equivalent.
• A minimum of 55% marks or a CGPA of 6.0 on 10 point scale in the qualifying examination (3.2.a and/or 3.2.b) in Humanities/Social Science/MBBS degree and/or equivalent.
• Applicants seeking admission to the PhD program must have an MS/ME/M.Tech/M.Sc/M.Arch/MBA/LLM/MA degree or a degree equivalent to any of the above.

Individuals also need to meet the additional requirements for admission under different categories of Doctoral degree programs.

Step 2: Register with Email ID and Password.

Step 4: Submit the form and pay the application fee (Rs 1,000/- for Unreserved/OBC/EWS/Transgender candidates and Rs.500/- for SC/ST/PwD/ Women candidates)
