New Delhi: IIT Kharagpur has opened the application process for International students who are willing to seek admission in PG and PhD programs for the academic session 2023-24. Interested candidates can submit their applications at the official website i.e., international.iitkgp.ac.in.
Candidates must note that the application window is open till April 30, 2023. IIT Kharagpur will offer 60 PG programs in the fields of engineering, technology, basic sciences, social sciences, humanities, law, entrepreneurship, management, and medicine. Furthermore, admissions to more than 50 PhD programs are also offered at the institute.
The Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR) and the Study in India Scholarship Plan offer financial aid and scholarships to the International students who are applying for admission in IIT Kharagpur.
The university also offers scholarship programs supported by the former students of IIT Kharagpur. IIT Kharagpur offers placements aid to its students with recruiters from a variety of industries including IT, core engineering, finance, consulting, automobiles, PSUs among others.
The IIT Kharagpur Placements 2022 recorded a total of 48 offers in the CTC ranging from INR 50 lakhs to INR 2.64 crore per annum. Participating companies include Airbus, Accenture Japan, Da Vinci Derivatives, Microsoft, Excel, Google, Qualcomm, Squarepoint Capital, N K Securities, Hindustan Unilever, and Tata Steel.
