IIM Indore Receives Re-accreditation from EQUIS

New Delhi: The European Foundation for Management Development (EFMD) Quality Improvement Systems - EQUIS (Europe), a respected worldwide organisation for management development, has successfully renewed IIM Indore's accreditation. It is an international non-profit organisation with headquarters in Brussels that was created to improve the quality of a certain programme within an institution.

IIM Indore has been re-accredited by EQUIS for three years. The entire IIM Indore community has received praise and congratulations from Professor Himanshu Rai, the institute's director, for their commitment and perseverance in earning this honour.

He underlined that the accomplishment was the result of the institution's whole workforce coming together to work towards a common goal. An extensive collection of criteria is used to assess the caliber and standards of an educational institution called the EQUIS Criteria Framework. Context, governance, and strategy, programme portfolios, students, faculty, research and development, executive education, resources and administration, internationalization, ethics, responsibility, and sustainability, as well as tries to practice, are all included in the framework.

IIM Indore was judged on its capacity to live up to the high criteria established by the EQUIS Criteria Framework, and depending on how well it performed in each of these categories, accreditation was granted.
