IP University to Establish Three New Schools


New Delhi: Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University also known as the IP University is all set to establish its three new schools namely, the School of Liberal Arts, the School of Film Making, and the School of Fire and Industrial Safety. 

According to a statement from IP University, the increased requirement for skilled professionals in these fields has led to the establishment of these new schools and centres of excellence.

The decision was made at the university's most recent 77th Board of Management (BoM) meeting. 

Currently, the university has 14 schools, with 12 on its Dwarka campus and two on its newly set up Surajmal Vihar site in East Delhi. Moreover, there is a centre of excellence for pharmaceutical sciences at the Dwarka campus. 

At the same meeting, it was also resolved to upgrade the existing Center of Disaster Management Studies (CDMS) to a Center of Excellence in Disaster Management.

Meanwhile, the GGSIPU has released the Indraprastha University Common Entrance Test (IPU CET) 2022 results for its BBA course. Candidates who sat for the IPU CET BBA entrance exam can visit the official website and verify their results available online. 

The university data revealed that amost a total of 19780 candidates have qualified for admission to IPU BBA and allied courses.

Earlier, on June 23, 2022, the varsity conducted the computer-based online exam. The university has also made available the IPU CET BBA merit list, which includes the names of candidates selected for counselling along with their participation IDs and application numbers. 

Candidates can also search for their names in the IPU CET result PDF by using the keyboard shortcut (ctrl+f). 

Recently, the GGSIPU joined hands with one of the leading Australian Universities, Murdoch University to boost academic collaboration and enhance academic cooperation in a number of areas, including research, research training, teaching, curriculum and course design, sharing and dissemination of academic materials, training programmes, among others.
