IP University to introduce 1330 Additional Seats across 9 courses; Check Details Here

Delhi Government has declared the addition of 1300 new seats for 9 courses at IP University from the year 2020.

Deputy Chief Minister, Manish Sisodia announced 1330 new seats will be added to 9 courses at Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU]) New Delhi during a press conference held on October 28, 2020. 

He added that during the pandemic situation, daily lives have been affected adversely but there is good news that students got promoted and graduated this year.

IP University is affiliated with many colleges across the state and the seats will be added to the affiliated colleges as well. The nine courses to which the addition has been made includes undergraduate courses too.

630 seats from 1330 seats have been allotted to the engineering courses and the rest are added to management and science courses. The university also conducts entrance exams for admission into various courses.

B.Voc course includes the additional seats of 20, BBA includes 120 seats, BCOM includes 220 seats, BA Economics includes 120 seats, BCA includes 90 seats, MBA includes 60 seats, MSC Yoga includes 15 seats and M Voc includes 55 seats.

Lastly, Sisodia commented that the introduction of seats is for the purpose of offering new opportunities to the students in the time of recess. The addition will not only help the students but also the affiliated colleges to impart education and full capacity.
