New Delhi: Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU) has released the schedule for the Round 1 of IPU MBBS 2022 counselling on its official website @ipu.admissions.nic.in.
Earlier, the registration for round 1 IPU MBBS Counselling began from October 10, 4:00 pm onwards at ipu.admissions.nic.in and Concludes on October 17, 2022. Students who qualified the NEET exam were eligible for IPU NEET 2022 counselling.
GGSIPU has also released the schedule for online filling of choices, preferences, and declaration of results of Round 1 of the online counselling and procedure to be followed after the results declaration of Round 1 in MBBS Programme for the academic session 2022-23.
It should be noted that the admissions will be made purely on merit as per the qualifying percentile of the NEET UG 2022 all India Rank.

GGSIPU conducts IPU NEET counselling for 85% state quota seats. While the IPU NEET counselling for 15% All India Quota seats will be conducted by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC).
The university will conduct three rounds of IPU MBBS counselling 2022. During counselling of IPU MBBS/BDS 2022, the students are asked to submit their choices of courses and colleges.
Based on the preferences submitted by candidates, NEET rank, reservation, and other factors the authority will conduct IPU MBBS 2022 seat allotment.
IPU MBBS Counselling 2022 - Procedure
The IPU MBBS counselling will be conducted in three rounds via the offline mode. In order to participate in IPU MBBS counselling, students will be required to register online at ipu.ac.in.
During registration, students will have to enter their personal, academic, contact, and NEET 2022 details, and upload scanned images of required documents for verification.
Further, they will have to pay a registration fee of Rs. 1,000 through the online mode using net banking or a debit/credit card.
During counselling of IPU NEET 2022, the students will have to submit their choices of courses and colleges. Candidates can fill in as many choices for counselling.
Based on the choices filled, number of seats, reservation, and NEET rank and score, GGSIPU will conduct the seat allotment of IPU MBBS 2022, and the result of IPU NEET 2022 counselling will be released in the form of a seat allotment list at the official website.
All the shortlisted candidates will have to report to the respective institute for IPU MBBS admission 2022, and submit mandatory documents for the verification process.
