New Delhi: Centre for Innovation and Entrepreneurship (CIE), Jamia Millia Islamia has begun the application process for admission to the short-term job-oriented courses for the academic session 2023-24. Interested candidates can apply by submitting their applications latest by March 20, 2023.
The short-term courses offered by JMI are designed to focus on the employment of applicants. These 3-month online or offline skill-based courses are available for professionals, job seekers, school dropouts, and university students who wish to upgrade their skills and become job ready.
The programs offered by the CIE, JIM University will focus on various skills such as the Basics of digital marketing, Basics of web designing, Basics of tailoring and embroidery, Advanced tailoring and embroidery, Basics of beautician training, Advanced beautician training, Computer hardware and networking and Bakery training.

Candidates who wish to apply for the admission process are required to submit their online application form along with a copy of the required documents on the official website. Applications must be submitted before the given deadline of March 20, 2023 to be considered by the admission cell.
According to JMI, apart from Basics of Digital Marketing, which will be taught online, other courses like Tailoring and Embroidery Training, Beautician Training, Computer Hardware and Networking, and Bakery Training will be taught offline. The minimum and maximum course fees are INR 3,000 and INR 5,000, respectively.
Informing about the courses, the official website reads, "Centre for Innovation and Entrepreneurship (CIE), Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI) is going to start 3 months skill based Short-Term courses in online/offline mode with evening batch for working professionals with placement support".
Upon the successful completion of the courses, the Centre for Innovation and Entrepreneurship has an agreement with "Job Hai," a Naukri Group business, to help with placement for enrolled students.
