Jammu University Calls Off Entrance Exam (JUET) for Admission to Master/PG Diploma Programs; Read Details Here


December 16, 2020: Jammu University has decided to hold back the entrance exam for admission into Master or PG Diploma Courses for the year 2020-21 in view of increasing COVID-19 cases.

University of Jammu has announced that no entrance exams will be conducted for the academic year 2020-21 for Master/PG Diploma programs. Admissions will be offered on the basis of merit secured by the candidates in the qualifying examination.

The university offers both regular and distance education courses to its students. Usually the varsity conducts JUET (Jammu University Entrance Test), for admission in M.A, M.Com, M.Sc, M.P.Ed, MCA, MBM & LL.M programs at PG level. Since the pandemic situation is still prevailing and due to the restrictions imposed by the government, the Jammu University has decided to skip the entrance exams for this year.

Instead of JUET 2020, Jammu University has invited applications for PG Admission. The online application process will start from December 17, 2020. The admission solely depends on performance in qualifying examinations.

University Institute of Engineering & Technology (UIET), University of Jammu started the application process for admission to 4-years B.Tech (Computer Science and Engineering) and B.Tech (Civil Engineering) Program for the Academic Session 2020-21.

The last date to apply online is October 27, 2020. The Application Fee (without late fee) is INR 1390, while The Application Fee (with late fee) is INR 1390 + INR 110.
