Jammu University DDE UG Admission 2022 Extended; Last Date to Apply is November 11

New Delhi: Jammu University, Directorate of Distance Education has extended the application process for the undergraduate level degree programmes for the academic session 2022-23. Aspiring candidates can submit the online application form through the official portal, @www.distanceeducationju.in, by November 11, 2022, with a late fee. 

 

The DDE, Jammu University offers part-time three-year programmes in B.A. and B.Com for the first semester. Candidates seeking admission to the UG programmes can submit their applications with a late fee of INR 2910, from October 26 - November 11, 2022.

Candidates' admission to the undergraduate programmes, B.A/B.Com Sem-I is done based on the merit obtained by the candidates in their 10+2 (Intermediate) exam.

The competent authority may consider grant of late admission for 10 days only after the 

expiry of last date as above, on a payment of Rs. 2910/- as late fee.

Jammu University DDE UG Admission 2022: Highlights 

The university has advised the interested candidates to submit the hardcopy of the application forms at the earliest possible day but not later than October 18, (in case of those without Late Fee) & October 28, (in case of 

those with Late fees). The university will not consider the hard-copies received after the designated dates.

Jammu University DDE UG Admission 2022: Eligibility Criteria

Candidates seeking admissions into the UG programmes will have to meet the requisite eligibility criteria. 

• Candidates who have passed the Higher Secondary Part-II (10+2) examination of the JKBOSE or any other examination recognized as equivalent thereto by the University of Jammu, shall be eligible for admission to Three –Year Degree (General) Programme Semester 1. 
• However, those who have cleared their said examination from board other than J&K Board will have to submit Migration Certificate (in original) along with duly filled in eligibility form with prescribed fee as applicable, and an Affidavit as given in Annexure-I.
• Candidates who have passed the Higher Secondary Part-II (10+2) examination in Commerce subjects from the J&K Board of School Education or any other examination recognized as equivalent thereto in any stream (Other than Commerce) obtaining not less than 45% marks in the aggregate shall also be eligible for admission to the B.Com Degree (General) Programme Semester 1. 
• However, those who have cleared their said examination from Board other than J&K Board will have to submit Migration Certificate (in original) along with the eligibility form duly filled in and an Affidavit as given in Annexure-I.

Jammu University DDE UG Admission 2022: Selection Process

• Candidate's selection to any of the undergraduate courses will be granted on the basis of the marks obtained in 10+2.
• Candidates will have to apply online and the University scrutinizes the eligible candidates applications and prepares a merit list.
• Candidates will be later called for counselling, if selected and upon verification of documents, the university offers admission.

Step 1: Visit the official application portal of Jammu University Distance Education @www.distanceeducationju.in

Step 2: Register yourself after filling the required details, such as Mobile number, Email Id etc.

Step 3: Now, login with your registration credentials and fill all details in the Application form.

Step 4: Pay the application fee and submit the Application form. 

Step 5: Applicants must also take a print out of the form for all future needs.
