JEE Main 2021: Parents dubious about Exam to be held Twice; Official Notice Releasing Soon


JEE Main 2021 official notification for January session exams is likely to be announced shortly. However, many students and parents are confused if JEE Main 2021 will be held once or twice. 

NTA holds the national-level entrance exam twice, that is in January and April every year. Although with the delay in the 2020 academic session, there have been speculations that holding the first phase of the JEE Main 2021 seems uncertain.

According to CBSE 2021 schedule for practical exams, there are chances that the Class 12th exams will be concluded by April or May. Due to this, holding JEE Main 2021 twice might be possible as of now. The practical exams for CBSE will tentatively take place from January 1 to February 08, 2021.

Furthermore, it is expected that JEE Main January 2021 would be held in February. The official notification for the JEE entrance exam has higher chances to be announced in December. The notification may be delayed if several states object because of the deferment of the 2020 academic year. Before deciding the exam dates, NTA is going to conduct consultations with various state boards.

Apart from this, the JEE Main April 2021 exam is likely to be held in May. Regarding the final decision, NTA will be holding consultations with state boards, and an official update will be out by December.

Thus, in all, the possibility, chances of holding the JEE Main January 2021 exam in February is high. JEE 2021 aspirants will benefit from appearing for the exam twice.
