JIPMER Counselling 2020: Second Stray Vacancy Counselling to be held on Jan 15, Check Details Here

JIPMER is all set to conduct a second stray vacancy round of counselling on January 15, 2021, from 8:30 a.m onwards, for vacant MBBS 2020-21 session seats of JIPMER Karaikal campus.

Earlier, a notification issued by JIPMER Dean (Academic) stated to limit the stray counselling to a single round. However, on Sunday, superseding the previous notice, the schedule for a second round of JIPMER Counselling 2020 for filling stray vacancies have been released.

The counselling will be held on the JIPMER, Puducherry campus. Registration is compulsory and registered candidates need to attend in-person, if shortlisted, for the second round of JIPMER 2020 stray vacancy counselling.

All candidates whose names are mentioned on the “Eligible list for stray vacancy round UG 2020 MBBS/BDS (Open)” released by the Medical Counselling Committee on January 7, 2021, must register with JIPMER to participate in the second round of stray vacancy JIPMER counselling 2020 for Karaikal campus.

JIPMER has also informed that registration would be concluded by noon of January 12, 2021. A list of eligible registered candidates ten times the number of vacant seats in each category will be created as per the merit.

Further, it would be uploaded on www.jipmer.edu.in in the evening of January 12, 2021, along with the updated JIPMER vacant seat list.

Those candidates who have registered but are not shortlisted on the merit list will not be permitted to attend the counselling and are asked not to visit JIPMER campus.

Candidates should bring the following original documents and photocopies as mentioned-below on the day of JIPMER Counselling 2020;

NEET Score Card
NEET Admit Card
Age Proof certificate (Birth certificate/10th/12th Mark sheet)
10 Class Mark sheet
12 Class Mark sheet
6 Recent Passport-Size Photograph
Conduct and Character certificate from the School where the candidate completed his/her Higher Secondary study
Transfer Certificate
Migration Certificate in case of CBSE, CISCE, etc.
Residence/Nationality/Domicile certificate issued by Revenue Authority
Certificate/EWSs Certificate (if applicable)
