JIPMER MBBS Admission 2020-21: Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research (JIPMER) will conduct CENTAC NEET 2020, today, January 11, 2021. The institute held the stray vacancy counselling round yesterday (January 10) at APJ Abdul Kalam JIPMER Auditorium.
Earlier, JIPMER has released an official notice informing the candidates about the admission to 19 vacant/ leftover MBBS seats at the Karaikal campus for the 2020-21 session through JIPMER stray vacancy round counselling.
Accordingly, CENTAC NEET 2020 exam will be conducted today from 9 AM-12 PM, to select eligible candidates for admission to those vacant seats. This is pertaining to the fact that after the Mop-Up round of JIPMER counselling, some seats remained vacant whereas some filled seats were surrendered or resigned.

The JIPMER stray vacancy round counselling commenced on January 10 at APJ Abdul Kalam JIPMER Auditorium, Puducherry from 8 am. The selected candidates will have their medical examination on January 11 from 9 am to 12 pm.
The JIPMER stray vacancy round will be conducted in offline mode. On January 10, candidates were required to submit various documents that are listed in the below section.
JIPMER Counselling: Documents Required for Stray Vacancy Round
Candidates will be required to submit the following documents during JIPMER Counselling:
- Admit Card
- Rank Letter/ Result
- Result Notification
- Candidate’s Date of Birth (Class 10th result)
- Proof of belonging to SC/ST/OBC/EWS
- Class 12th passing mark sheet
- Class 12th passing certificate
- Self-attested copies of all certificates
- 6 recent passport-sized photographs
