New Delhi: JIPMER has begun the registration process for admission to its full-time PhD program for the academic session 2023-24. All the Interested candidates can apply for admission through the university's official website i.e, jipmer.edu.in/. The last date to apply for admission is March 26 (till 5 PM). To apply for JIPMER PhD Admission 2023, interested candidates must hold a Master’s Degree with 55 % in the relevant field from a UGC-recognised university.

JIPMER offers admission to its PhD courses on the basis of marks obtained in the qualifying entrance examination conducted by JIPMER. Shortlisted students are further called for a viva- -voce.

JIPMER PhD Admission Process 2023: Eligibility & Selection Criteria

To get in JIPMER PhD program 2023, interested candidates needs to follow the eligibility and selection criteria mentioned below:

• Medical/ Nursing Qualification: MD from a medical school accredited by the MCI or NMC; MS in Nursing from an INC-recognized institution.
• Non-Medical Qualification: Master's degree (2 or 3-year programme) in the subject area authorized by the UGC or an equivalent
• Candidates must have scored at least 60% overall in the qualifying exam (or 55% for SC/ST/OBC/PPH candidates).
• Applicants can apply if it is predicted that they will obtain the required certifications and degrees by October 31, 2023.
• Applicants who obtained their Master's degree through a program of remote learning are not eligible.
• Applicants must have achieved success in one or more entrance tests, such as the Joint CSIR-UGC NET.
• Selection for the PhD course is done through the score/merit in the qualifying entrance exam conducted by JIPMER followed by viva voice.

Step 2: Fill in the required details like educational qualification, personal details and complete the application form.

Step 3: Submit the required documents such as photograph, signature, and left thumb impression.

Step 4: After the payment of the application fee, click on the “Submit” button. You can take a print out for your future records.
