New Delhi: J K Lakhsmipat University has announced admittance to its Ph.D. programme for the January 2023 spring semester. Admissions are currently being accepted for a full-time doctoral programme.
JKLU Provides PhD Courses in various disciplines like chemical engineering, civil engineering, computer science engineering, information technology, electronics & communication engineering, mechanical engineering, finance, and communication.
Candidates are urged to review the eligibility requirements established by JK Lakshmipat University before submitting an application for admission. Only those who meet the eligibility requirements can submit an application. The registration deadline is December 12, 2022.

JKLU PhD Admission 2023: Scholarship
For chosen full-time PhD scholars, JKLU is also providing a scholarship worth Rs. 25,000 per month.
JKLU PhD Admission 2023: Eligibility
Candidates must have earned a master's degree or its equivalent with a minimum of 55% of the possible points, or 5.5/10 cumulative grade point average. This year, JKLU is also giving direct admission to students who have completed their BTech or BE with at least 75% of the required marks and a 7.5/10 CGPA. 60% grades or a 6/10 CGPA in BTech are required for students who have just graduated from engineering school and have at least 10 years of relevant experience. For SC/ST students, the minimum qualifying score will be relaxed by 5%.
Reasoning, quantitative aptitude, basic mathematics and statistics, verbal ability, and English are the key topics covered in the PhD entrance exam.
JKLU PhD Admission 2023: Points To Note
- Forms must be submitted with all necessary documentation before December 12, 2022.
- Candidates are excluded from the entrance exam if they have successfully completed the NET, SLET, GATE, or any other national test that is equivalent. Performance in the interview will be used to evaluate candidates who have met the requirements for NET, SLET, or GATE (valid score card as of date).
- On December 17, 2022, a written test and interview will be held. These tests and interviews will primarily focus on core subjects, research interests, and fundamental Mathematics and Statistics.
