New Delhi: JMI has recorded the highest placement performance in session 2022 for various programmes. The highest salary package is offered to B.tech students of INR 25 lakh package from Amazon.
Jamia Millia Islamia has offered placements for courses namely BTech, MTech, MCA, MBA, Diploma, BCom, MCom, and MA Economics. The placement record has improved significantly this year.
This year, more than 100 companies conducted both online and offline placement drives. The average package has also risen. Students from the B.Tech Computer Science course have received an average salary of INR 10 lakh package.
According to JMI Placement 2022, top companies that participated in the placement drive were Amazon, Samsung R&D, L&T, EXL, KPMG, Deloitte, Bain Capability Network, Accenture, ZS Associates, Optum, Infoedge, Josh technology, ICICI Bank, HDFC Bank, Vedanta, Newgen, Schneider Electric, Xiaomi, TCS, IBM, Wipro, Mahindra & Mahindra, Delhivery, Mobikwik, Publicis Sapient, Trident group, Lime road, CRM Next, Tech Mahindra, Escorts, India Mart, Cians Analytics, Scaler Academy, Byjus and so on.
As per reports, students from the MBA stream have received an average salary package of INR 8.8 lakh and the MCA stream INR 8.2 lakh. Jamia students have also been selected to public sector organizations such as Engineers India Ltd. International placement drives were also present such as Landmark UAE and SVI in Cambodia.
