New Delhi: Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI) is conducting the placement drive for students of various programs of batch 2023. The drive began in the first week of January 2023, in which students received the highest international salary package of INR 25 LPA.
As per Jamia Millia Islamia, the placement drive is being organised for the students of new courses such as MBA in Healthcare and Hospice Studies, Master of Design and Innovation and Master in Environmental Science. So far, more than 350 have been offered to students.
JMI Placement Drive 2023 aims to provide students across various domains an opportunity to get placements in top companies around the world. This year, students of the MBA and JMI MSc Banking and Financial Analytics programs have joined the campus drive.
Following the JMI Placement 2023 data, students have been offered job opportunities by a total of 45 recruiters so far, which are Reliance Jio, L & T, Samsung R&D, JSW, Tech Mahindra, Lifestyle group, Babyshop, Moodys, HSBC, Seimens, Zenon Analytics and HLS Asia.
In addition to this, offers were made by TCS, WSP, Mother Dairy, Zia Semiconductors, Newgen, Comviva, Unicommerce, Believe, Azeem Premji foundation, India Infrastructure, Smart Cube, Bluestar, Vedanta, Accenture, IBM, Capgemini, Axiom Consulting, Bosch, Cyfuture and others.
Talking about the packages, five international recruiters have joined the campus drive and recruited BTech and MBA students. Out of which, JIT from Japan offered a package of INR 20 LPA, while international recruiter, Home Centre from Dubai offered INR 25 LPA.
Referring to the placements, Professor Rahela Farooqi, Director, University Placements Cell, JMI Jamia said, “I thank all recruiters for selecting our students and would also like to invite them for the hiring of the 2023 batch whose placements are going on".
"I also thank my team for comprising of Deputy Directors Professor Sabah Khan and Professor Moonis Shakeel, Senior Placement Executive Nida Khan and Placement executive Durdana Tehseen, Mohd Rehman and Mohd Razique Khan for their support", he added.
