JNCASR Admission 2023-24 Open for PhD, M.S(Engg), M.S (Research); Apply till April 19

New Delhi: Jawaharlal Nehru Centre for Advanced Scientific Research, (JNCASR) has begun the application process for admission to its Ph.D. / M.S(Engg.) / M.S(Research) programmes for the academic session 2023-24. Interested candidates can enrol for Ph.D. / M.S(Engg.) / M.S(Research) by submitting the online application form through the official portal of JNCASR @jncasr.ac.in.

JNCASR offers various interdisciplinary courses and research programs in the fields of Science and engineering such as M.S, MSc, PhD programs in Materials Science and Chemical Science. Candidates who wish to get admission to the Ph.D. / M.S(Engg.) / M.S(Research) programme can apply online till April 19, 2023.

JNCASR Admissions to the Ph.D. and M.S./Ph.D. programs at JNCASR will be based on a written entrance examination followed by an interview. The institute also provides admission to the students through national-level examinations like CSIR-UGC NET, JEST, GATE, and IIT JAM.

In order to enrol for JNCASR Ph.D. / M.S(Engg.) / M.S(Research) Programmes, candidates will have to fulfil the requisite eligibility criteria.

• MS (Engineering ):Candidates must hold a MSc or BE/BTech or ME/MTech degree with 50% marks from a recognized university. 
• PhD: Candidates must have passed 50% in M.Sc (Chemistry or Electronics or Mathematics or Physics or Materials Science) OR B.E. or B.Tech. in Electrical or Metallurgy OR M.E. or M.Tech. Chemical or Electronics or Electrical engineering. 
• MS Research: Candidates must hold BE or B.Tech or ME or M.Tech or MBBS degree with 50% marks in aggregate

• MS (Engineering): Candidates must have a valid GATE/ GPAT/ JEST/ UGC NET/ CSIR NET /ICMR JRF/ DBT JRF /INSPIRE JRF score followed by Personal Interview. 
• PhD: Candidates must have a valid score in GATE or GPAT or JEST or UGC NET or CSIR NET or ICMR JRF or DBT JRF or INSPIRE JRF followed by a personal interview. 
• MS Research: Candidates must have a GATE or GPAT or JEST or UGC NET or CSIR NET or ICMR JRF or DBT JRF or INSPIRE JRF score followed by an interview. 

JNCASR Ph.D. / M.S(Engg.) / M.S(Research) Admission 2023-24: How to Apply?

Step 1: Visit the official application portal of JNCASR @jncasr.ac.in.

Step 2: Go to the homepage, search for the registration link and register yourself by filling the required details.

Step 3: You will be redirected to the login page, now use your registration credentials and fill all details in the Application form.

Step 4:  Pay the requisite application fee and submit the application form.

Step 5: Take a print out of the application form for all your future references.
