Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology (KIIT) bags 13th QCI-DL Shah Quality Silver Award, Read Details Here


According to the sources, Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology (KIIT), deemed to be a university, on Friday was conferred the 13th Quality Council of India (QCI) - DL Shah Quality Silver Award.

The institute was presented with the recognition at the virtual inaugural ceremony of the 3rd Quality Conclave conducted on December 17, 2020, Thursday.

Pro vice-chancellor, Professor Sasmita Samanta of Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology (KIIT) received the award for successful implementation of System Analysis Program Development, the sources stated.

On the other hand, CMC Vellore, KG Hospital and Post Graduate Medical Institute, Coimbatore and Chitkara University, Punjab, were also the part of this list of awardees under different categories, they further informed.

KIIT founder and MP Achyuta Samanta stated that the aim of the university was the adoption of digital innovation and ideal practice to improve processes, products and offer advanced services.

In addition, KIIT is incidentally the first university in the country to introduce SAP in all schools and processes since 2013.

Furthermore, the institute was chosen for the DL Shah Quality Silver Award after qualifying the five stages of the selection procedure by Quality Council of India.
