Kashmir University Admission Open for BVA, BPA Program; Apply till March 17


New Delhi: Kashmir University has invited applications for admissions into its undergraduate programs, Bachelor's of Music (BPA) and Bachelor’s of Visual Arts (BVA) for the academic year 2022-23. 

Candidates interested in pursuing their undergraduate degree in either music (BPA) or visual arts (BVA) in Kashmir University from can apply for admissions on or before March 17, 2022.

Kashmir University BPA & BVA Admission 2022: Eligibility 

In order to enroll for admissions into BPA and BVA, candidates must meet the following eligibility criteria, 

  • Candidates must have passed the 10+2 Examination of the J&K Board of School Education, JKBOSE or any other equivalent examination from recognized board with not less than 45% for Open Merit and 40% for Reserved Categories;

Candidates' admission to the BPA and BVA courses will be done based on their merit in the Aptitude Test, details of which can be had from the office of the Principal, Institute of Music & Fine Arts, Naseem Bagh, University Campus, Hazratbal, Srinagar.

Kashmir University BPA & BVA Admission 2022: How to Apply? 

Candidates interested in pursuing BVA and BPA from Kashmir University can go through the following steps to fill their On-Line Application Forms.

Step 1: Visit the official website of Kashmir University @kashmiruniversity.ac.in

Step 2: Navigate to the Admissions section and go through the important instructions for registration and submission of Form

Step 3: Then, register yourself by clicking on the “Register as Student”. Note down the Username and Password for future reference.

Step 4: After successful Registration, use the credentials to login into the system for submitting On-line Application Form.

Step 5: Now, Enter your “Board Registration No.” and Click “Next”, fill in all the details and upload the latest passport size Photograph and click “Next”.

Step 6: Select the desired preferences 

(After On-line submission the Preference of Campus/ College selected will not be updated/changed). Click “Next”.

Step 7: If there is any variation click on “Previous” button, make necessary edits and modifications and then Click 

“Submit”. Take a printout of the form and note the form number for future reference.

Step 8: Finally, deposit a non-refundable application Fee of INR 150/- (including IT Fee of INR 50/-) along with the processing/ entrance test fee of INR 250/ - i.e INR 400/- through Online mode only.

After submitting the online application forms, candidates must keep a hard copy of the application form for further reference. 

Candidates are required to check the fee status of their online application forms after four days from the submission. In case fee reconciliation is pending, the candidate should contact the office of the Directorate of Admissions & Competitive Examinations, Kashmir University, for further query. 

Kashmir University Issues Selection Notification for B.Tech/BE (Lateral Entry) Programmes 2022

In other news, the Kashmir University issued a list of selected candidates for the B.Tech/BE (Lateral Entry) for the academic year 2022-23. 

The students whose names have been featured in the notification are selected provisionally for admission to the B.Tech/BE (Lateral Entry) Programme (session-2021) offered by the 

Institute of Technology, Zakura Campus, Zakura and SSM College of Engineering, Parihaspora, Pattan purely based on the merit obtained by them in the Entrance Test.

The provisionally selected candidates will be able to download their online admission forms from the website of the University 

of Kashmir, @www.kashmiruniversity.net by entering their Entrance Test Form number.

The shortlisted students can approach the Director/Principal of the preferred institute/college along with all the relevant original certificates and self attested Xerox copies of certificates/ documents to the authority slip for depositing the prescribed fee reflected on the downloaded pay-in-slips from March 07, 2022 to March 14, 2022. 

If the provisionally selected candidate fails to complete the admission formalities within March 14, 2022, then they shall forfeit their right to admission and the resultant vacancy (ies), if any, shall be filled up from among the waiting list.
