KUFOS Admission 2023 Open

New Delhi: The Kerala University of Fisheries and Ocean Studies (KUFOS), has begun the application process for admission to the postgraduate and PhD level degree for the academic session 2023-24. Interested and eligible candidates can enroll for PG & PhD Admission through the official portal, @admission.kufos.ac.in.

KUFOS offers MSc, MFSc, MBA, and MTech at postgraduate level in Engineering, Management & Fisheries Science disciplines. Candidates seeking admission to the KUFOS PG & PhD programme can submit their applications till April 22, 2023.

KUFOS Admissions to the PG and PhD courses are granted on the basis of candidate’s merit in entrance exams such as KEAM, CAT, GATE etc. The university also conducts its own Common Entrance Exam for PhD admission.

KUFOS PG & PhD Admission 2023: Eligibility Criteria & Selection

In order to enroll for admission to the KUFOS PG & PhD programme, candidates will have to meet the requisite eligibility criteria. Tabulated below illustrates the eligibility criteria and selection process for the specified courses offered by KUFOS.

M.F.Sc	Candidates holding a B.F.Sc degree from a recognized institute with an OGPA of 6.5/10.0 or above are eligible. 5% of relaxation will be provided to SC/ST candidates.	Selection to all M.F.Sc programs under the Faculty of Fisheries Science will be based on the results of NTA score of PG/ Ph.D 2023 of ICAR.
MBA	Applicants must be a graduate with a minimum of 50% aggregate in graduation in any discipline from any recognized university. A professional graduate from State Agriculture Universities or Deemed Universities under the ICAR system with a minimum 6.0 CGPA is also eligible to get Admission. Final year candidates are also eligible to apply.	Selection for the MBA programmes under the Faculty of Fisheries Management will be based on the scores of KMAT/ CMAT/CAT followed by Group Discussion / interview.
M.Tech	Candidates must hold a BE/ B.Tech or equivalent degree from a recognized institute with a minimum of 60% aggregate marks.	Selection for all PG and Ph.D programmes (except M.F.Sc & Ph.D under Faculty of Fisheries Science and MBA under Faculty of Fisheries Management) will be done on the basis of KUFOS entrance examination results
MSc	Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree or equivalent degree in relevant specialisations from a recognized university. Final year Degree students can also apply. However, candidates who get admitted will have to meet the requirement regarding their marks before the commencement of first semester examination, failing which their admission will be forfeited
PhD	Candidates with a master’s degree in respective discipline from a recognized university with 50% aggregate marks (45% for SC/ ST) will be eligible. For PhD in the Faculty of Fisheries Science, candidates must have scored at least 7.0/10.0 OGPA (6.5/10.0 OGPA for SC/ST)) in order to be eligible	Selection to the PhD entrance will be done on the basis of candidate’s merit in the Common Entrance Exam conducted by KUFOS.
